Two killed in drunk driving incident

Two motorcyclists struck by a drunk driver were killed on Highway 234 Saturday night, a release from Oregon State Police said. Police have not yet released names of the two people pronounced dead at the scene where a Ford Mustang struck their black Harley Davidson as they traveled eastbound on the highway. The crash occurred near Eagle Point at milepost 17. Oregon State troopers and emergency personnel responded at around 8:30 p.m., and officers arrested the uninjured juvenile driver of the Mustang on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Two other juvenile passengers in the Mustang were also uninjured in the crash. Highway 234 was closed for about three and a half hours Saturday night.
