"Friends" went off the air Thursday night after 10 seasons, an event that sparked last week’s question: Are there any TV series no longer on the air that you miss, and would want to see come back? And folks here displayed fond memories of shows reaching back almost 40 years. In all, 26 TV series received mentions (see how many you remember) — with M*A*S*H receiving the most notices. I would like to see Sea Hunt, Flipper, The Rebel and Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman return to television. — Lond Bass Jr., Medford Northern Exposure!!! We need "Chris-in-the-Morning" and the whole quirky crewin these troubled times. — Sandi R., Ashland Thirtysomething and Mad About You. — Ms. Walker, Grants Pass Ed Sullivan! The Monkees! The Sonny and Cher Show! Bring back the variety shows! Thankfully, I Love Lucy is still airing! —Joyce Hess, Rogue River I would like to see a return of the old Cheyenne series starring Clint Walker. FYI he is still living in the Nevada City, Calif., area. — Don Wilder Crowl, Medford M*A*S*H, The Carol Burnett Show, Providence, 3rd Rock From the Sun, The Cosby Show, A Different World and most of all ... Seinfeld! — Maria, Central Point 3rd Rock From The Sun. Simple, fun and nothing to figure out or wonder about. Just simple entertainment. — Alan F. Sky King, Ozzie and Harriet, Rawhide, The Waltons. — Dennis Wallace, Shady Cove I’d love to see M*A*S*H come back. It was so great. — Carol Snider, Medford M*A*S*H was the best series on TV and can’t come back or be duplicated. — C. Jones, Talent Ally McBeal was fun to look forward to. The quirky characters, dialogue, music, and law cases created great hour-long, eccentric entertainment. — Dee Wittenberg I would LOVE to see the weekly series Dallas and L.A. Law come back! The first several years of these shows were just fabulous....... then they got a little weird.
