Paving delays on McAndrews Motorists driving on McAndrews Road in Medford this week will face delays as paving work is under way. City and state road crews will be grinding and inlay paving on McAndrews from Court to Sweet Road. Weather permitting, they'll be working from 10 p.m. Monday through 5 p.m. Wednesday. Grinding in the westbound lanes will begin at 10 p.m. on Monday, with two-way traffic being rerouted into the eastbound lanes. Crews will pave in the westbound lanes during daylight hours on Tuesday. Grinding in the eastbound lanes will begin at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, with two-way traffic being rerouted into the westbound lanes. Crews will pave in the eastbound lanes during daylight hours on Wednesday. Motorists should expect closures, delays and possible detours, especially at the Sage Road and Columbus Avenue intersections. People are advised to seek alternate routes.
