Pastors will discuss Cuba trip ASHLAND � Representatives of the Pastors for Peace group will talk about an upcoming trip to Cuba in a presentation at Peace House this week. The event is at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Congregational Church, Siskiyou Boulevard and Morton Street. Pastors for Peace transports supplies to Cuba, Chiapas, Mexico, and to Central American countries suffering the effects of recent hurricanes. The group soon will make its 11th trip to Cuba, and this time the emphasis will be on athletic and educational supplies. During the Peace House program, a member of the caravan will explain the project, and local residents who have recently traveled to Cuba, including two members of the Ashland High School debate team, will make presentations.
