Police seek public's help Medford police need the public's help finding a man they say bilked eight people out of about $180,000. Officers say Delbert "Del" Leroy Stephens Jr., 41, is believed to have committed fraud by getting people to invest in drive-up coffee stands he said he owned. They didn't exist. He also encouraged people to invest in bogus real estate, police said. Medford police Lt. Tim George encouraged people to check licenses and make sure what they're investing is in authentic. Stephens at one time had a securities license, but he is not currently licensed to sell either securities or real estate. He is white, weighs 170 pounds and has short brown hair and blue eyes. His last known vehicle was a black 1998 Ford Expedition, Oregon license plate number WBB 824. He also had a 21-foot Alumaweld boat, Oregon hull No. OR115WG, and a boat trailer, Oregon plate number U218540. Stephens may be in the Odell Lake area or the Eugene area.
