Medford police arrested Nelson Tuesday on charges of possession of amphetamines, two counts of second-degree forgery and two counts of second- degree theft. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained Tuesday night on $26,000 bail. Drugs — John Aaron Jones, 24, of the 900 block of Mt. Pitt Street, Medford. Jones appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Tuesday on an indictment charging him with possession and delivery of marijuana. He was booked into jail and released. Crime reports Burglary — 600 block of South Valley View Road, Ashland. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy took a report of a burglary in which someone broke into a house and took $67 worth of household goods, a preliminary police report said. Vehicle theft — 700 block of Cardley Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft of a 1991 Toyota truck with a wallet, credit cards, pager, and MP3 player inside. The total estimated value of the items was $5,500. Vehicle theft — 200 block of Lozier Lane, Medford. Medford police took a report of a stolen 1989 Pontiac LeMans. Advertisement Vehicle theft — 400 block of South Central Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft of a 1993 Pontiac Firebird with no license plates.
