She was surrounded by family in her home. Ronelda was born in Glendale, Ore. August 27, 1918 to Lester and Hattie Schleigh. Ronelda spent her entire life in the Southern Oregon area. She was a devoted mother and the matriarch of a large and loving family. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and painting. Ronelda married Harold "Champy" McCollum July 3, 1936 in Medford Ore. They celebrated 68 wonderful years together. Champ preceded Ronelda in death in 2004. Ronelda was dearly loved and will be greatly missed and remembered in the hearts of all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Y. Frazier; her sons, Gerald (Jerry) D. McCollum (Barbara) and David C McCollum (Denise); nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 14 great- great-grandchildren; and her sister, Lesley Parker Iverson of Lebanon, Ore. She was preceeded in death by her grandson, Scott A. Frazier and her great-granddaughter, Lyndsay A. McCollum; her brothers; Larry, Clifford, and George Schleigh; and her sisters, Florence Olson and Bernice Hurt. A celebration of life will take place at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Apostolic Faith Church 285 Sunrise Avenue Medford, Ore. 97504. Rev. Tim DeBusk and Rev. Nolan Roby will officiate. A burial service will follow at I00F Eastwood Cemetery, 1581 Siskiyou Blvd. Medford, Ore. 97501. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Medford Gospel Mission. Arrangements made by Conger-Morris.
