Medford police arrested Brown Tuesday on multiple identity- theft charges. He was lodged in Jackson County Jail, where he remained Tuesday night on $80,000 bail. Forgery — Deonne JiniAppling, 28, of Grants Pass. Medford police arrested Appling Tuesday on charges of first- and second-degree forgery, first-degree possession of a forged instrument, second-degree theft and two counts each of identity theft and using a computer to commit a crime, as well as a warrant charging her with failure to appear on a past drug charge. She was lodged in jail on $48,000 bail, then released because of crowded conditions. Drugs — Eric Don Phillip Kunkle, 38, of the 1700 block of Orchard Home Court, Medford. Medford police arrested Kunkle Tuesday on charges of possession and delivery of amphetamines, as well as parole violation. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Tuesday night without bail. Drugs — Cherylyn Wingler, 41, of the 2500 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Wingler Tuesday on charges of possession of amphetamines and driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was lodged in jail, where she remained Tuesday night on $9,000 bail. Drugs — Cynthia Louise Marshall-Carroll, 44, of Mission Hills, Calif. Medford police arrested Marshall-Carroll on a charge of possession of heroin. She was lodged in jail, then released several hours later because of crowded conditions. Advertisement Crime reports Theft — 500 block of Pearl Street, Medford. Medford police took a report of a theft of a gas-powered scooter apparently stolen from the back of a pickup truck. The scooter had an estimated value of $700. Burglary — 200 block of Central Avenue, Medford. Someone broke into the library under construction downtown, painted graffiti on the walls and stole some tools, a police report said. The walls will have to be repainted. The damage was estimated at $8,000. Workers discovered the damage Tuesday morning and called police.
