LGBTQ health care forum tonight in Medford By Mail Tribune staff Oct 08, 2019 10:22 AM A A Local experts will talk about health care access options, availability and unique obstacles for LGBTQ community members at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Medford Public Library, 205 S. Central Ave. The panel discussion and question-and-answer time with audience members will be held in the large conference room. The public can learn about challenges facing the LGBTQ community and where to get services and LGBTQ-inclusive care. Panelists include Dr. Justin Adams, chief medical officer of the La Clinica Wellness Center; Lori Braughton, a family nurse practitioner at the West Medford Health Center; Heather Juno, a licensed clinical social worker with the Crater High School-based health center; LGBTQ Caucus member and advocate Liz James; Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon Director of External Affairs Sky Loos; Michael Klein, a health relationship advocate with Community Works and Susan Moen, executive director of the Jackson County Sexual Assault Response Team. The event is presented by the Jackson County Democratic Party Healthcare and LGBTQ Caucuses. A forum tonight explores health care obstacles and accessibility for LGBTQ community members .
