Third St., Medford. Look for pneumatic and animatronic scare props — zombie women, leaping clowns, a devilish cherub and a giant, spitting leech — in a scare fest that is a cut above. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at randalltheatre.com , at Magic Man Fun Shops, 880 Biddle Road, Medford, and 1448 Williams Highway, Grants Pass, by calling 541-632-3258, or at the door. Discounted tickets are available at the Magic Man stores. Pheasants Fields Farm: Activities such as a pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayrides, a pear-shooting gallery, bounce house, farm animal exhibit and face painting will be available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Oct. 31, at Pheasant Fields Farm, 1865 Camp Baker Road, Phoenix. Dance to the Old Time Fiddlers, who will perform from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 24-25. Bring a flashlight and wander in the corn maze from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. The Country Store will be open with a selection of fall produce and pumpkins. Apple cider, sodas, barbecued pulled-pork sandwiches, hot dogsm, hamburgers, turkey sandwiches and caramel apples will be available at Grandma's Country Kitchen. Admission to the farm is free. Seven Oaks Farm: A kids maze, pumpkin decorating, pony rides, pumpkin-carving and food preservation demonstrations will be available from from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays in October at Seven Oaks Farm, 5504 Rogue Valley Highway, Central Point. Hay and pony rides are $1. Participation in other activities is by donation. Hot dogs, nachos, popcorn and other goodies will be available. The farm's country store will offer pumpkins and fall decorations. Call 541-664-2060. Southern Oregon Humane Society Haunted House: Just Scream Halloween hosts a haunted house from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 23-24, and Friday, Oct. 30, at 711 E. Main St. Medford. The haunted house will be open from 6 to 11 p.m. Halloween, Oct. 31. Travel through a dark world of zombies, ghouls and goblins. Admission is $5 and limited to ages 7 and older. Kids 7 through 12 must be accompanied by adults. Proceeds will benefit the dogs and cats of the Southern Oregon Humane Society. See justscreamhauntedhouse.org . Gold Hill Historical Society Halloween Haunted House & Graveyard: Visit a family-friendly two-story haunted house and museum from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Oct. 23-24 and Oct. 30-31, at 504 First Ave., Gold Hill. Admission is $5 for ages 13 and over, $3 for ages 6-12, $1 for ages 3-5 and free for ages 2 and younger. Proceeds benefit the Gold Hill Historical Society and Museum. Monster Dash: A weekend of Halloween events opens with the Monster Ball Pasta Party from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at the Historic Ashland Armory, 208 Oak St., Ashland. The event includes a costume contest, pasta dinner, beer and wine bar, a silent auction, kids' activities, prizes and dancing. Pasta Party tickets are $10 for ages 14 and older, $6 for ages 3-13 and free for 2 and younger. Tickets are available at the door, at Ashland public school offices and online at ashlandmonsterdash.com . The annual Monster Dash runs are at Lithia Park along Winburn Way in Ashland on Saturday, Oct. 31. The one-mile fun run/walk starts at 10:30 a.m. and the 5K run/walk and 10K run start at 11:15 a.m. Race registration and packet pick-up information are available at www.ashlandmonsterdash.com . ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum Halloween: Be part of a nation-wide challenge to build 5,000 bat houses in one day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum, 1500 E. Main St., Ashland. The cost is $5 per bat house, with one available per family. The museum will close at 2 p.m. on Halloween but will have a Spooky Science display on Oak Street in downtown Ashland. Central Ave. Youngsters can trick-or-treat at the customer service desks. Make Lego pumpkins, ghosts and other spooky items from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and enter a costume contest from 1:30 to 2 p.m. in the children's department. Hallo-Wine: Trick-or-treat like a grown-up with a three-course meal, wine, live music by L.E.F.T. and dancing from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Belle Fiore, 100 Belle Fiore Lane, Ashland.
