CENTRAL POINT Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo set for June 2-4 at The Expo Comment By Local report MailTribune.com By Local report Posted May. 23, 2016 at 2:00 AM By Local report Posted May. 23, 2016 at 2:00 AM » Social News The Central Point Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo will take to the arena at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, June 2-4 at the Jackson County Expo, 1 Peninger Road in Central Point. Main events include bull riding, bareback riding, tie-down roping, team roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding and barrel racing. The top 20 Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association world standing contestants are entered in various events. Professionals include numbers two and four saddle broncs, Spencer Wright and Rusty Wright, number four bareback Austin Foss, and more. Nightly events include The McMillan Family Trick Riders, kids performing daredevil horse riding stunts at high speeds; JJ Harrison, Northwest clown of the year and national finals rodeo clown; Mutton Bustin’, a sheep riding contest for kids; contests and races. After parties feature performances by Chase Bryant on Thursday, Billy Lund and Whiskey Weekend on Friday, and the Scott Perry Band on Saturday. Ticket prices vary daily. Advance ticket sales at a reduced price are available at www.wildrogueprorodeo.com . General admission tickets are also available at Boot Barn and Bi-Mart locations. Tickets will be available the day of the event. The exceptional rodeo allows people of all ages with disabilities to star in the ring 10–11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 4. Attendees will participate in different rodeo activities. Rodeo participants, including JJ the clown, rodeo queens, cowboys and the trick riders will play miniature golf, ride bumper boats and more with kids at the Rogue Valley Family Fun Center from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 4.
