Early birds, proceed with caution. May 2-3 The annual Eagle Point Golf Course Community Spring Yard Sale started Friday and will continue this weekend. From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, neighborhood sales will be held throughout the 500-plus-home golf course community. From Highway 62, turn at Shasta Avenue then onto Alta Vista, and take Eagle Point Drive to RT Jones, watching for signs. Sales will be held on all streets and cul-de-sacs with additional sales located along Shasta on Arrowhead Trail, Glenwood and Aberdeen. May 2 A well-attended sale, the city of Central Point will host the first of two sales this year from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. The sale is held around town with an address list and map — to help shoppers find their way to all the sale spots — provided online and at City Hall. There also will be a book giveaway on the lawns outside the Crater High School Performing Arts Center, 699 N. May 9 Talent's annual citywide yard sale will be held Saturday, May 9. Shoppers can obtain a map of the sun-up-to-sundown sale locations at City Hall the week before the sale or, on sale day, at Ray's Market, 215 E. Wagner St. Gold Hill will hold its sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 9 across from the Gold Hill Odd Fellows lodge, 483 Fourth Ave. A $10 space rental charge will be donated to the Odd Fellows Restoration Project to help save the historic lodge. Residents or businesses who would like to be included on a sale list should email [email protected] or call 541-535-6956 by May 14. In addition to yard sales at houses around town, check out a book sale at the Phoenix Library, a Phoenix Garden Club Sale at Ray's Market, and Phoenix Community Center rummage sale at First Presbyterian Church. June 19-21 The only sale held during the blazing days of summer, the indoor Rogue Valley Manor Sale is slated for its usual spot in June. Times for the sale, held at the Medford Armory, 1701 S. Pacific Highway, are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, June 19-20, and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 21. Details online: http://rvmmanorsale.org . Sept. 11-13 One of the most heavily attended sales, the Jacksonville citywide yard sale is slated for the second weekend in September. Residents, community groups and local merchants start unloading their goods almost as soon as the sun comes up. Parking is at a premium, so local merchants always encourage carpooling. Sept. 12 Central Point's Fall Citywide Sale will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, its second yard sale of the year. Sept. 25-27 The Eagle Point Golf Course Community will host a fall event in the same format as the spring sale. Fall dates (see location in the spring listing) are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Sept. 25-26, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27.
