(Mail Tribune \ file photo) The deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 8 election is Tuesday, Oct. 18, and ballots are expected to reach households in Jackson County during the period of Oct. 22-28, according to Jackson County Clerk Chris Walker. To register, complete the online form at oregonvotes.gov , or go to the county Elections Office, at 1101 W. Main St., Suite 201, Medford, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Ballots will be delivered to the U.S. Postal Service processing facility Friday, Oct. 21, and some could be delivered to people’s homes as early as the next day. Registered voters who do not receive a ballot by Oct. 28 should call the elections office at 541-774-6148, Walker said. Ballots come with a prepaid postage return envelope.
