November 10. 2014 12:14PM Tax expert offers free presentation for small businesses SOU Small Business Development Center hosts its third presentation of Lunch, Learn & Launch on Thursday, Nov. 20. This month’s local business expert is Patrick Hurley, who will speak on recordkeeping and taxes. Participants will learn what to save to pay business taxes on time, how to create a system to keep accurate records for business and what the IRS looks for when reviewing taxes. Hurley is a former IRS agent and has had his own accounting business since 1982. Hurley Tax Services was selected 2014 Best of Medford Award in the tax return preparation category. The event runs 12:15-1:15 p.m. and will be held at the RCC / SOU Higher Education Center, 101 S. Bartlett St., Medford. There is no cost to attend. Pre-registration is required.
