Delene Yvonne Pauley Guest Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Dec. 4, 2014 at 2:00 AM Posted Dec. 4, 2014 at 2:00 AM » Social News A beautiful soul passed through the veil and into our Lord's loving arms. Delene Yvonne Pauley Guest passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in Medford, Oregon. Delene was born March 17, 1939 in Pawnee, Oklahoma. She was a resident of Salem, Oregon where she attended North Salem High School. Delene is survived by her beloved and constant companion of 37 years, husband Dave Guest of Oregon; her children and their spouses, Troy (Linda) Holland of Australia, Kim Maddox of Alaska, Colleen (Neil) Bjornstad of Alaska, Lynn (Lance) Loving of Montana, Michael (Julie) Guest of Colorado, Shane (Ella) Guest of California as well as 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Twyla Baty; sister, Colleen Bowers; first husband, Patrick Holland; and son, Raymond Guest. Mom taught us the important things in life, the love of family, music, butterfly kisses, and our faith in God. What a beautiful legacy we have because of her. Mom's endearing qualities were obvious to all. She was kindhearted and generous with her time and talents, and always ready to help. She was easy to be with, and so much fun with childlike qualities we all loved. Everyone who spent time with her fell in love with her sweet spirit. We will miss her laughter, her touch, and of course her world-renowned pies. "You are my Sunshine, Love you more and Pinky waves!" A memorial service will be held at a later date.
