Smoke may be visible from parts of town throughout the day. No roads or trails will be closed, but residents should be aware of vehicles on the roads and expect smoke in the area of the Eastview Trail, officials said. Based on feedback after last week's burning, project officials said they plan to schedule burning when the weather forecast calls for precipitation before and after the burn and there is less likelihood of stable air that traps smoke in the valley. The National Weather Service office in Medford predicts a storm front will move into the area tonight, bringing wind and rain this evening and into Thursday.
