North Valley defense throttles Chiefs MERLIN -- North Valley wasted little time separating itself from Rogue River for a Skyline Conference girls basketball victory Tuesday. The Knights used tenacious pressure to stun the Chieftains with a 14-4 surge in the first quarter en route to a 53-36 victory.
