Roseburg whips up on Eagle Point Roseburg's Kevin Beavers opened the meet with a tense, 11-8, double-overtime victory over J.P. Sheile at 112 pounds to help set the tone for the rest of the night. When the dust cleared 13 matches later, the Indians remained the lone undefeated SOC team in dual meets with a convincing, 40-18 win. "They came out and took it to us," said Eagle Point assistant coach Rob Cowden. "It was their senior night, and they were all fired up. We just didn't put up a fight." The SOC loss was the Eagles' first in three years, according to Cowden. The two teams traded victories until Roseburg closed the match with four straight wins - including two pins. "You know, it was the last dual meet with us coming into town, so they were ready to go," said Cowden. "But you have to give them credit. They wrestled a great dual." Isaac Hebert (140), Cody Parker (215) and Justin Troxel (275) each pinned their opponents for the Indians. Jacob Leonardo had a pin for Eagle Point at 135.
