PET OF THE WEEK Adopt a pet: Herman MailTribune.com Writer Posted Mar. 22, 2015 @ 12:01 am Posted Mar. 22, 2015 @ 12:01 am » Social News p bs:newslist StartDate="20121121" EndDate="p bs:datecalc Months="3"" DateSort="1" UseObjects="1" ObjectClass="81" Taxonomywords="2325,665" ExactTaxonomyMatch="1" Image="1" Count="4" --> Meet Herman AGE : I'm Herman, a handsome li'l hot rod looking to put your heart in overdrive. I am a little gray around the muzzle, but I’m only 6 years old. PERSONALITY : Despite my small, portable size, I am often sensitive to being fussed over and held, and am prone to back problems. On the other hand, I’ll be your constant companion and follow you from room to room. I get along with other dogs, and am treat-motivated (aren’t we all?).   HIGHLIGHTS : I would love a home that would take me on frequent strolls around the park and neighborhood, as, with my short little legs, hiking and camping isn’t really “my thing.” AVAILABLE : At the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Hwy., between Talent and Phoenix, open 7 days a week. COST : Herman’s adoption fee is $95, which includes a free one-hour in-home training session and a wellness visit at a local veterinarian office. Herman is neutered. ONLINE : View adoptable pets via Friends of the Animal Shelter: www.facebook.com/fotas, www.fotas.org or www.petfinder.com LOST & FOUND : www.petharbor.com or call 541-774-6654.
