A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Light on six counts of negotiating a bad check, identity theft, first-degree theft and second-degree forgery. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Tuesday on $38,000 bail. Drugs — April Deanna Szabo, 21, of the 2700 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. Szabo appeared Tuesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with possession of amphetamines. She was booked into jail then released on her own recognizance. Drugs — Benjamin John Riedlinger, 51, no known address. A Medford police officer Tuesday arrested Riedlinger on a charge of possession of amphetamines and warrants charging him with failure to appear in court and failure to pay court fines. He was lodged in jail and later released because of overcrowding. Crime reports Burglary — 1100 block of Spring Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday took a report of a burglary in which someone entered a home and stole two bicycles valued at $500. Theft — 1100 block of Biddle Road, Medford. A Medford police officer Tuesday took a report of a theft in which a purse containing cash and credit cards valued at $790 were taken.
