Candice Bennett, a senior outside hitter from league-champion Prospect, was named most valuable player. Her sister, Mallory, a senior setter, was also selected to the first team. "I don’t think she’s (Mallory) had an off game all season," said Prospect coach Marcy Gallagher. "Whatever kills the girls get, it’s because Mallory gave them the ball." Candice, the older of the two sisters, led the team in kills along with junior Lacy Musard, who was selected for second-team honors. Candice Bennett and Musard demonstrated their dominant hitting abilities in Prospect’s final regular-season game against Hosanna Christian, combining for 24 kills. For Butte Falls, junior outside hitter Nikki Harms and senior setter Melody Carlise made the first team. Harms led the Loggers in serving aces with 66, and Carlise led in assists. Shawna Wright received honorable mention for the Loggers. Playing the middle, Wright led Butte Falls in blocks and kills as the Loggers finished league play in third with an 8-4 record.
