A. Mozart’s String Quartet in C Major, “Dissonance,” Henri Dutilleux’s String Quartet "Ainsi la nuit (Thus the night)" and Ludwig van Beethoven’s String Quartet in C-sharp Minor, Op. 131, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 3, in the Music Recital Hall on the Southern Oregon University campus, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland. Tickets cost $30 or $35 and can be purchased online at chambermusicconcerts.org or by calling 541-552-6154 or 541-552-6348. Tickets cost $5 for students and Oregon Trail Card holders. 'Pride and Prejudice' — Enso Theatre Ensemble will present a staged reading of a Jane Austen classic, “Pride and Prejudice,” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 3-4, as part of Randall Theatre's new Staged Reading Series. This adaptation, by Caitlin Lushington of Medford, uses ensemble movement to tell the story and language that moves between contemporary speech and Austen's actual words. Plagued by a mother obsessed with finding rich husbands for her five daughter, Elizabeth Bennet is determined to make her own match, and she soon discovers that the people we meet are never quite who we think they are. Admission is by donation at the door. Randall Theatre is at 10 Third St., Medford. Oregon Old-Time Fiddlers — The ensemble will host its monthly jam from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at the Ashland Community Center, 59 Winburn Way. Siskiyou Summit — The Rogue Valley bluegrass band — Crystal Reeves on fiddle, Jeff Jones on mandolin, Bob Evoniuk on Dobro, Glenn Freese on guitar, Rick Nelson on banjo and Sam Cuenca on upright bass — will present its "Out From Under the Rock" from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at Belle Fiore, 955 Dead Indian Memorial Road, Ashland. Pioneer St., Ashland. Von Radics is the author of "Mouthful of Forevers" and founder of Where Are You Press. She lives in Portland. The open mic session is open to anyone who wishes to share poetry, music, dance or theater. Admission is free.
