LOCAL ROUNDUP Phoenix-Talent swats Ashland ASHLAND -- Theron Hull and Dave Westfall propelled the 15-hit Phoenix-Talent attack against Ashland in Senior Babe Ruth baseball Thursday at Southern Oregon University. The Pirate duo both went 4-for-4 as Phoenix-Talent defeated Ashland 8-4. Travis Dunlap and Cody Rombach added two hits apiece for the Pirates. Pitcher Jason Denney went six innings to record his first victory of the season as Phoenix-Talent improved to 3-1.
