People in business Carolyn McKenzie and Monte Williams have joined in the Medford office of regional accounting firm Isler & Co. McKenzie was recently manager of Pezullo, McKenzie & Co., a firm based in Susanville, Calif. She began her accounting career in Medford and has returned to manage the tax department at Isler's Medford office. Williams joins Isler after serving as vice president of finance for Medford-based Musician's Friend. He was previously vice president of finance for Applied Laser Systems Inc. in Grants Pass and Smith Management Inc. Williams and McKenzie are graduates of Southern Oregon University. Isler has branches in Medford, Klamath Falls, Eugene and Portland. LibertyBank has hired a trio of new employees. Reginald Powell has been hired as senior business banking officer for the Medford area. He most recently worked for KeyBank in Medford. Powell is a member of the Medford Chamber of Commerce Greeters and the Heart of Medford Association. Peggy Nickols and Val Nimmo have been hired as senior residential loan officers for the bank's Biddle Road branch. Both formerly worked for GMAC Mortgage in Medford. Nickols has been a mortgage loan officer in the Rogue Valley for more than 22 years. Nimmo has been a mortgage loan officer for seven years and in the real estate industry for more than 20. Charles McLean has been promoted to general manager of the Central Oregon and Pacific Railroad, which owns the tracks throughout Southern Oregon. He joined the railroad in June 1998 as assistant general manager. He also spent 17 years in the engineering department of the Burlington Northern Railroad in the Midwest and was superintendent of operations for the Northeast Kansas and Missouri Railroad. He replaces Bob Libby , who has been promoted by RailTex (the railroad's parent company) to vice president and regional general manager. Libby now oversees RailTex's operations throughout the West. Robert Damon has moved to the Central Point branch of Farm Credit Services as a portfolio manager. Damon, who has been with Farm Credit Services since 1976, was raised in the Rogue Valley. He graduated from Crater High School in 1971 and from Oregon State University in 1975. ACP Investigations has promoted two employees. Ingrid Mathewson has been promoted to general manager of the Medford company. She had been serving as office manager and an investigative operative. She has been with the company for two years. Barbara Henderson has been promoted to office manager. She had been in charge of the process serving division. Lynn McLarrin has joined Carlson Wagonlit Travel-Travel Made Easy as a travel consultant. McLarrin is a former Ashland resident who had been living in Tucson, Ariz., for the past 10 years.
