It turns out that both the organizations in question provide considerable services for considerable funds to Jackson County. More than $3 million in county contracts with David Evans and Associates is paying for a dozen engineering projects to revamp the Medford airport, County Administrator Sue Slack said. Based in Portland, the Evans firm also provided field investigation of the Wimer bridge collapse and services in connection with the Foots Creek Bridge.
