Crater boys down Del Norte, 4-2 CENTRAL POINT -- Jordan Kell broke a 2-2 tie with a goal at the 45th minute and Tristan Webb added an insurance goal at the 66th minute to lead Crater to a 4-2 non-conference soccer victory over Del Norte, Calif., on Wednesday. Cody Holm and Pete Kashevaros scored first-half goals on penalty kicks for the Comets in the physical match. But David Wilson connected for Del Norte just prior to halftime and Raul Alanis scored five minutes into the second half to earn the visiting Warriors a 2-2 tie. Fullback Ryan Rackley had two assists for the Comets, who improved their record to 7-1-1. Center midfielder Jason Licato and right fullback John Taylor, who filled in for an ailing Nate Tewes, had strong performances on defense for Crater.
