Silver Falls Dermatology buys Medford practice Salem-based Silver Falls Dermatology & Allergy has purchased the dermatology practice of Judith Redd, 1910 E Barnett Road, Suite 101, in Medford. Silver Falls Dermatology & Allergy was founded by John Young in 2006, the Medford acquisition gives the firm 13 locations in Oregon and Washington, with plans to expand into additional western states by next year. Dermatology nurse practitioners Connie Hayes and Tracy Arnold will be the first practitioners in the Medford office, diagnosing and treating skin, hair and nails conditions. Hayes earned her Masters in Nursing at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She earned a doctorate of Nursing Practice from University of Alabama Capstone College of Nursing. Ross earned her nursing degree from McKendree University and a master's in Nursing from Saint Louis University. Silver Falls Dermatology was the first private practice in the Pacific Northwest to host a dermatology residency. It provides general, pediatric, surgical and cosmetic dermatology as well as allergy­immunology services. The Residency is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association. Silver Falls Dermatology is accepting consults and new patients and can be reached by phone at 1-866-599­-3376.    Chase branch in Fred Meyer to be closed The JPMorgan Chase branch office at South Medford Fred Meyer will be assimilated into Chase's 81 East Stewart Ave., branch in early 2016. The branch, along with the North Medford Fred Meyer, were Washington Mutual's entry points in the Rogue Valley market two decades ago. Chase acquired Washington Mutual's assets, including its local offices in September 2008. There are 38 Chase branches inside Oregon Fred Meyer stores. A Chase spokesperson said the branch's four employees will move across the street to the East Stewart Avenue office. The branch will be shuttered at 4 p.m., Thursday, Jan 7.   Hotel revenue rises 10.5 percent in October Southern Oregon hotel and innkeepers reported October gains, but trailed statewide trends. Occupancy rose 2.7 percent to 64.9 percent, room rates grew 6.6 percent to $86.20, and revenue per available room jumped 9.4 percent to $55.97. Demand grew 3.7 percent and revenue rose 10.5 percent to nearly $14.5 million during the month. Statewide, the average room rate was $111.66 and the revenue per available room was $74.94.
