A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Wednesday arrested Marley on two counts of first- degree sexual abuse, first-degree unlawful sexual penetration and failure to pay court fines. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Wednesday on more than $3 million bail. Identity theft — Aaron Daniel Thomason, 25, of the 3500 block of Bursell Street, Central Point. A Medford police officer Wednesday arrested Thomason on charges of identity theft and theft of services. He was lodged in jail and later released because of overcrowding. Forgery, criminal mischief — Barbara Fern Maplesden, 40, of the 19300 block of Antioch Road, White City. Maplesden appeared Wednesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging her with first-degree forgery, first-degree criminal mischief and two counts of second-degree theft. She was booked into jail and released on her own recognizance. Assault — Steven Levene Jones Jr., 33, of the 3900 block of Arrowhead Drive, Medford. A Medford police officer Wednesday arrested Jones on a charge of third-degree assault. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Wednesday on $25,000 bail. Drugs — Fred Eugene Driggs, 22, no known address. A Medford police officer Wednesday arrested Driggs on charges of methamphetamine possession and failure to appear in court. He was lodged in jail and later released because of overcrowding. Theft, forgery — Jimmy Roy Kelly, 50, of the 11900 block of Perry Road, Central Point. A Medford police officer Wednesday added two counts of first-degree aggravated theft, identity theft, first-degree forgery and first-degree criminal mistreatment to Kelly, who was arrested earlier this month on a parole violation. He is being held in jail without bail. Advertisement Crime reports Theft — 1900 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. A Medford police officer Wednesday took a report of a theft in which a barber shop pole valued at $1,000 was stolen. Theft — 3400 block of Delta Waters Road, Medford. A Medford police officer Wednesday took a report of a theft in which compact discs, cellular phones and clothing valued at $1,500 was stolen. Theft — 1100 block of Pinecroft Avenue, Medford. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Wednesday took a report of a theft in which a car dolly valued at $2,000 was stolen.
