Bill Edward Davis Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Sep. 9, 2015 at 2:00 AM Posted Sep. 9, 2015 at 2:00 AM » Social News Bill Edward Davis Bill Edward Davis, 84, of Gold Hill, Ore. passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 in Medford, Ore. He was born May 7, 1931 in Cardston, Alberta, Canada to Ellen Leishman Pugh and Thomas Edward Davis. He married Betty Burns Davis February 17, 1951. Bill served in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed by the Oregon Department of Forestry for 35 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, sports, and golf. Bill is survived by his sons, Glenn E. Davis and Jerry D. Davis; sisters, Zoe Payne, Helen Williams, Zen Clement, Edro Rosencrans, and Rita Henrion; brothers, George Davis and Thomas Davis; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. A Christian memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Conger-Morris Central Point Chapel. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Heart Association or Medford Humane Society.
