Gold Hill must boil its water — again Thursday Nov 17, 2016 at 6:40 PM Nov 17, 2016 at 6:40 PM Gold Hill experienced another water break, this time on Second Avenue near Patrick Elementary School, prompting the city to warn residents to start boiling their water again. "We have made every attempt to prevent another water boil notice, but at this time it is inevitable," a release from the city said tonight. Crews will work through the night to restore service, the release said. "We understand what an inconvenience this is for everyone and we are very sorry for the continued challenges," the release said. The city will notify residents when tests show no bacteria and they can resume drinking the water without boiling it first.
