TRANSPORTATION Open house will discuss planned I-5 interchange work at Gold Hill Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Jan. 25, 2016 at 5:51 PM Posted Jan. 25, 2016 at 5:51 PM » Social News The Oregon Department of Transportation plans some upgrades to Interstate 5 interchanges at Gold Hill, and agency officials are hosting an open house to present them to the public. The event will on the upgrade project, called the Interchange Access Management Plan, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, at the Gold Hill City Council Cambers, 420 Sixth Ave. ODOT officials said the upgrades will include improvements such as a four-way stop at the Blackwell Road intersection at exit 40 and a widening of the interchange bridge to better accommodate bikes and pedestrians.
