He lived with grace, humor, and thoughtfulness and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Robert (Bob to some of his friends and family) was born in Medford, Ore. June 22, 1950 to William (Bill) and Jean Seibert, the second of their two sons. Robert attended the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) and followed in the footsteps of his father as an architect. Robert loved living and working in his hometown and was involved in many volunteer positions including SPAC (Site Plan Architectural Committee.) Robert was a charter member of his beloved Bear Creek Valley Rotary. Robert married the love of his life, Loree Nevotti in 1983, eloping to Reno with their good friend Janice Lambson. They just celebrated their 32nd anniversary September 3, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Seibert; his mother, Jean (Lydiard) Seibert; and brother, John Seibert. He is survived by his beloved wife, Loree and his beautiful children, Brittany and William. Robert was a loving and dedicated father often supporting his children in their sports activities. He was often the parent chaperone with a vanload of Brittany’s volleyball teammates or William’s basketball friends. Robert lived life with passion and was prepping for his third sprint triathlon to be completed this fall alongside his daughter Brittany in Florida. Robert’s favorite sport was cycling and he spent many summers leading groups of friends on tours around the Northwest. Friends identified these trips as “Bob’s Big Bahuna Bike Bash." Robert also enjoyed swimming and both he and Loree could be found three times a week at Avamere Health Club where he would calmly knock out a mile swimming free-style. He enjoyed snorkeling each morning during several trips to Maui with Loree and friends. He and his family enjoyed trips to Australia, New Zealand, France, and the UK accompanying his parents. While in France the family visited Utah Beach where his father was in the first wave to land on D-Day. He will be forever missed by his wife and children, extended family, fellow Rotarians, friends, and faithful canines Barnum and Louie. A memorial service will be held at Mtn. Church in Medford, Ore. in late December. The family requests that gifts in his honor be sent to the Bear Creek Valley Rotary, Angel Flights West (who assisted with transportation to OHSU appointments), or Providence Hospice of Medford, Ore.
