Grand jury indicts ex-pastor A Jackson County grand jury Tuesday indicted a former pastor accused of assaulting church patrons last week. According to Deputy District Attorney Tim Barnack, Tauileata Moli, 40, of Eagle Point, will be arraigned in court during the first week of April. Moli, who was arrested by Central Point police Friday, was indicted on 11 counts, which include driving under the influence of intoxicants, second-degree assault, two counts of first-degree burglary and three counts of fourth-degree assault. Central Point police allege that Moli assaulted three former church patrons Friday afternoon while he was intoxicated in three Central Point locations: Taco Bell and two adult foster-care homes. Moli reportedly believed the victims had spread rumors within a local Seventh-day Adventist church that resulted in his termination. "This case is still an open investigation," Police Chief Mike Sweeny said. "We haven�t added any new charges." Barnack said he could not comment on the case.
