Divers find body of drowned teen Divers on Saturday located the body of an Alaskan teen who disappeared in the cold waters of Howard Prairie Lake Friday. According to a report from the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, the body of 17-year-old Isaiah James Florendo of Kenai, Alaska, was recovered in the approximate area where the teen was last seen swimming Friday afternoon. He was found under 12 feet of water. Jackson County Search and Rescue and the marine division assisted in the recovery. A search for Florendo took place Friday but was called off at 6 p.m. The teen's father, Brent Florendo, 44, of Talent, was fishing with friend Tony Blomstrom of Siletz when the accident took place Friday. Isaiah Florendo allegedly attempted to swim from the north shore of Howard Prairie Lake to Doe Island when he was overcome by cold water. According to Sgt.
