Film screening and talk Feb 19, 2013 12:00 AM A A Award winning filmmaker Byron Hurt will show his latest film “Soul Food Junkies” and speak at 6:30 p.m. at Southern Oregon University in the Rogue River Room of the Stevenson Union, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd. Ashland. Hurt is an activist, lecturer, writer and documentary filmmaker. His latest film “Soul Food Junkies” has already won various awards and weaves together intersecting topics of family, culture, health, social justice and food security.
