Ashland man murdered on Strawberry Lane Sunday Nov 6, 2016 at 11:38 AM Nov 6, 2016 at 11:38 AM A 22-year-old man is being held on a charge of murder after an Ashland man died of stab wounds early this morning. Ashland police responded to the 200 block of Strawberry Lane at about 1 a.m. and found Avi Feldman, 20, suffering from multiple stab wounds, according to detectives from the Major Assault and Death Investigation Unit. Responders attempted life-saving measures, but Feldman died at the scene, a media release says. His family has been notified. Police found Pedro Sabalsa Mendez near the scene and arrested him on a charge of murder. He soon will be lodged at the Jackson County Jail, according to the release.
