Is that the same Mark Bradshaw who used to do the news on Channel 10? — Steve K., Central Point A search of the Web helped our crack SYA investigators track down Mark Bradshaw of KTUL in Tulsa, and indeed, he’s one in the same as the former KTVL anchor. Bradshaw got the story, sensational because it had been videotaped, this week when one of Tulsa’s best-known ministers, Billy Joe Daugherty, was punched in the face Sunday by a 50-year-old man while giving an altar call at Victory Christian Center. Bradshaw moved to Tulsa from Las Vegas in 1996. He was voted "Best Television Anchor" in Tulsa in the 2003 Best of Broadcast Awards. Advertisement As for the assailant in this bizarre and apparently unprovoked incident, the pastor continued the service, asking the congregants to pray for the man. Assault charges were not filed, though the man was later jailed on a bench warrant. The Tulsa World newspaper reported that 15 years ago the assailant had punched Richard Roberts, son of televangelist Oral Roberts, while Roberts was rehearsing for his "Richard Roberts Live" television show. Charges were not filed in that incident either. Daugherty later met with his assailant to pray for him,. He said the man was unapologetic.
