Since You Asked: Wine writer wanted; you can apply within Thursday Nov 9, 2017 at 12:01 AM I was wondering what happened to Kevin Breck, the last wine writer. I enjoyed reading his columns. He wasn't around very long — you guys must be tough to work for! Any plans to replace him with another local writer? — Bill F., Medford Are you applying for the job, Bill? If so, you can send a short letter listing your qualifications and your ideas for covering the local wine scene, along with a sample column that illustrates your writing style. We're being serious. Kevin Breck, whose every-other-week column, Eno Files, started in June 2016, told us just this past week that he was finding it difficult to juggle school, his burgeoning career as a winemaker and his writing responsibilities, so he gracefully bowed out. We'll miss him. Especially the bottles of wine he was required to deliver each week when he dropped off his column. Kidding, Bill. Now we're looking for a new wine columnist.
