18-year-old jailed for sex crimes Joshua Thomas Campos Monday Jan 15, 2018 at 4:08 PM Jan 15, 2018 at 4:08 PM Local report Capping a four-month investigation, Jackson County Sheriff's detectives arrested an 18-year-old Medford man Thursday for having sexual contact with middle school-aged girls, according to a press release. Detectives believe there are likely more victims who have not yet come forward. Joshua Thomas Campos, of the 1500 block of Hancock Avenue in Medford, was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on numerous charges, including first-degree sexual abuse, second- and third-degree rape, unlawful sexual penetration and sodomy. His bail was set at $250,000. The charges involve three separate victims, ages 13 and 14, in incidents that occurred in 2017. Campos contacted the victims through friends, at parties and online, the release said. Detectives would like to hear from additional victims and anyone who has information about the case.
