OSAA calls off winter sports championships, Crater, South Medford impacted By Mail Tribune staff Mar 12, 2020 12:01 PM A A The Oregon School Activities Association has canceled the rest of the winter sports championships in an effort to help slow the transmission of the coronavirus COVID-19, and follow the lead of several prominent sports conferences and leagues across the country. The Crater boys and girls basketball teams were in the Class 5A semifinals, and were scheduled to play March 12 at the Gil Colosseum in Corvallis.
