SOU has title hopes hampered with upset SALEM -- Western Baptist College delivered a huge blow to Southern Oregon University's Cascade Conference volleyball title hopes with a 16-14, 15-12, 11-15, 15-10 win on Friday. The Raiders (12-3 league), seeking their first conference title since 1991, travels to take on Concordia today at 7 p.m. with possible title hopes at stake. Northwest Nazarene, also 12-3 in conference play, holds the tiebreaker over both Southern Oregon and Concordia if the three should end in a tie. The regular season champions will host the six-team post-season tournament Nov. 12-13. Erin Lytle had 66 assists, 22 digs and seven kills while teammate Monica Fisher had a team-high 21 kills for Southern Oregon, who dropped to 21-7 overall on the season.
