Donnie Thomason’s 13-over-par 85 helped Grants Pass land third place with a team score of 389. Sheldon (351) won the event and Roseburg (383) took second. Roseburg’s Clare Dittimore and Sheldon’s Jenny Krause were co-medalists, each carding 80s. TEAM SCORES: 1, Sheldon, 351; 2, Roseburg, 383; 3, Grants Pass, 389; 4, South Medford, 458; 5, South Eugene, 462; 6, North Medford, 516; DNQ, Willamette, incomplete score. INDIVIDUAL RESULTS (TOP 5): 1, Clare Dittimore, Roseburg, 39-41—80 tied Jenny Krause, Sheldon, 40-40—80; 3, Madalyn Ardueser, Willamette, 41-40—81; 4, Donnie Thomason, Grants Pass, 44-41—85; 5, M. NORTH VALLEY INVITATIONAL: St. Mary’s Kamryn Ford shot a 7-over-par 81 and tied for second individually in the North Valley Invitational at Grants Pass Golf Club. Ford was co-runner-up with Henley’s Kylie Collum. The Hornets’ Katie Collum was medalist with a 74, leading her squad to a score of 372 and the victory. With just three players, St. Mary’s did not qualify for an official score. The Crusaders were one of five teams to field incomplete teams.
