Ima Powell Apr 30, 2006 12:00 AM A A Ima Powell Ima Powell, age 70, passed away on April 26, 2006 in Medford at Rogue Valley Memorial Hospital. Ima was born on February 19, 1936 in Bethel, Oklahoma to Granville Yates and Maxine E. Foshee. She graduated high school from Lakeview, Oregon. On June 13, 1954 she married Murry Powell in Reno, Nevada. Her life was centered around her family. Survivors include: husband, Murry Powell; son, Tom Powell; sister, Jo Ann Hedgpeth; grandchildren, Heather and Ashley. Ima was preceded in death by her mother, father, and sister, Mary Sue Childress. A funeral service will be held on May 1, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Perl Funeral Home & Siskiyou Memorial Park.
