Medford man arrested for growing marijuana Mar 09, 2015 12:00 AM A A A Medford man was arrested and 181 marijuana plants were seized Monday during a raid on an indoor grow operation that was not involved with Oregon's medical marijuana program, authorities said. Darrick Stewart Roach, 32, was the only one home when Medford Area Drug & Gang Enforcement team executed a narcotics search warrant on the 400 block of Charlotte Ann Road in Medford. Officers searched a residence and outbuildings, eventually tallying 181 plants in the illegal grow site, according to MADGE. Investigators also found scales during the search, which capped a month-long investigation, MADGE reported. Roach was taken into custody on charges of unlawful possession, manufacture and distribution of marijuana, police said. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $30,000 bail. The investigation was continuing and more arrests were possible, police said.
