Marching against Alzheimer's Mail Tribune / Andrew Mariman More than 200 people walked 2.3 miles Sunday to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association in Southern Oregon's fourth annual Memory Walk. The Southern Oregon chapter of the national organization provides information about the memory-wasting disease, respite care for people who are caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's and workshops to train people to care for loved ones. The 2000 Memory Walk raised about $17,000; figures for Sunday's event were not available at press time.
