Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Huff late Wednesday on two counts of assault of a peace officer, and charges of resisting arrest, second-degree trespassing and failure to comply on past theft and harassment charges. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained Thursday night on $16,000 bail. Assault — Michael Craigmile Jr., 32, no address listed. Central Point police arrested Craigmile Thursday on two counts of fourth-degree assault and a charge of resisting arrest. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Thursday night on $13,000 bail. Weapons — Christopher Sean McGee, 25, no address listed. Medford police arrested McGee on two counts of being a felon in possession of a weapon, as well as a parole-violation charge. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Thursday night without bail. Drugs — Eric Todd Mehlmauer, 36, no address listed. Medford police arrested Mehlmauer Thursday on charges of possessing amphetamines, being a felon in possession of a weapon and parole violation. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Thursday night without bail. Warrants — Terrence Case, 40, of Vancouver, Wash. Case was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on warrants charging him with unauthorized use of a vehicle and failure to appear on several misdemeanor charges. Advertisement Crime reports Theft — 1000 block of North Riverside Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report Wednesday of a theft of a compact-disc player from a vehicle. The CD player had an estimated value of $300 and damage to the vehicle was estimated at $475. Theft — 1400 block of Avocado Lane, Medford. Medford police took a report Wednesday of a theft of a stereo, CD player and speakers from a vehicle. The total reported loss, including damage to vehicle, was estimated at $1,650. Theft — 2400 block of Amaryllis Street, Medford. Medford police took a report Thursday of a theft of a Kenwood CD player, a radar detector and 30 CDs from a vehicle. The total reported loss was estimated at $1,050. Car theft — 500 block of Fairmount Street, Medford. Medford police took a report Thursday of a 1999 Daewoo with Oregon license plate XSH 976. Theft — 2000 block of College Way, Medford. Medford police took a report Thursday of a theft of a cocktail ring with seven diamonds and a birthstone ring with a garnet and diamonds. The jewelry reported stolen had a total estimated value of $1,200. Fire call Grass fire — 2400 block of Antelope Road, White City. Jackson County Fire District No. 5 snuffed out a grass fire that burned about an eighth of an acre in a field behind a 7- Eleven store.
