Medford chiropractor accused of touching patients sexually Scott B. Cooper Wednesday Jan 17, 2018 at 4:57 PM Jan 17, 2018 at 5:55 PM A Medford chiropractor is accused of sexually touching four females, one of them a minor, during appointments for adjustments and massage therapy. Scott B. Cooper, 53, owner of Cooper Chiropractic at 711 E. Main St., was arrested this morning on 10 counts of third-degree sexual abuse, 1 count of second-degree sexual abuse and four counts of sexual harassment, according to a Medford Police Department release. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $77,500 bail. Police said the victims were age 32, 24, 20 and 17. The investigation was prompted by three females who alleged Cooper had touched them sexually during appointments. After an "extensive investigation," police believe the incidents occurred in October 2017 and this month, according to the release. The investigation found the touching was sexual in nature and outside standard chiropractic care, the release said. After Cooper was arrested at about 9:30 a.m. at his business, an additional female victim disclosed inappropriate touching consistent with the other three females, police said. The investigation is ongoing, the release said.
