Look for performances by trance and groove group Hamsa Lila, Sufi devotional music group Fanna-Fi-Allah, beatboxer and reggae artist Mike Love, and singer and purveyor of ancient songs Peia, along with roots-rock country music by Matthew Human and The Human Revolution, Alcyon Massive's blend of hip-hop and Oregon roots-reggae, and many others. Ashland folk artist Alice DiMicele and her band also will make an appearance. Late-night dance parties will feature electronic music by Random Rab, Govinda and Dragonfly in the resort's community room. The festival will run from 2:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 9 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, and 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, at Jackson WellSprings, 2253 Highway 99. Friday day passes are $30, $35 at the door. Saturday or Sunday day passes are $40 in advance, $35 at the door. Tickets to late-night dance parties Friday and Saturday are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. A three-day pass is $100 in advance, $110 at the door. Weekend passes that include camping and pool and spa access are $155 in advance, $165 at the door. All passes and tickets can be purchased online at peacevillagefestival.org . Ages 12 through 17 receive a 50 percent discount on day or weekend passes. Kids 11 and younger get in free. Vegetarian meals and snacks will be available at the resort's Conscious Food Court. There will be an artisan's market, a healing sanctuary, an intuitive arts pavilion, yoga, ecstatic dance, a goddess temple and a variety of workshops. This family-friendly event also includes a kids' village, with fun activities for children. To celebrate its 10th year, Peace Village Festival honors ancestral spirits. Local artist and illustrator Lindy Kehoe, whose art is featured on this year's Peace Village poster, and other artists will be showcased at the event's Visionary Art Show. Live music will grace two stages at the festival: The Seamana Earth and Stone Stage and the Casbah Pavilion Stage. On Friday, the festival's opening ceremony will begin at 3:30 p.m. on the Seamana; Shoshana B and Nectarfari will perform at 5; The Human Revolution at 7; and Alcyon Massive at 9:30. Al Torre performs at 4 p.m. in the Casbah; Windsong, Kat Del Rio and SpiritEarth Band at 6; Ojolo at 8:15; The Ancient Wild at 11:15; and Nigel Webb at 12:45 a.m. Friday's late-night dance features Dragonfly at 11:15 p.m. and Govinda at 12:30 a.m. On Saturday, Good Shield Aguilar performs at 1 p.m. on the Seamana; Eostar and Web of One at 3:30; Alice DiMicele and her band at 6:30; and Hamsa Lila at 9:30. Millicent Cummings performs at noon in the Casbah; Hawane Rios at 2:15; Cornflower at 5; Sara Tone at 8; Chad Wilkins at 11:15; and Heather Noel at 12:45 a.m. Saturday's late-night dance features Solus at 11:15 p.m. and Random Rab at 12:30 a.m. On Sunday, Spirit Tribe will perform at 1 p.m. on the Seamana; Peace Tribe at 3:15; Mike Love at 6:15; and Fanna-fi-Allah at 9:15. David Hummingbird will perform at noon in the Casbah, David Kai at 2, Jaya Lakshmi and Ananda at 4:45; Peia at 7:45; and Jens Jarvie and the Heart Wide Open at 11.
