Loggers drop match to Elks Nov 04, 2010 12:00 AM A A ELKTON — Bessie Taylor had 12 kills and three aces for Butte Falls in an opening-round Class 1A state playoff loss to Elkton on Wednesday. The Elks (11-11) won, 25-21, 13-25, 25-20, 25-16. Beth Sutfin recorded 10 kills, Tamika Funk turned in seven kills and Sierra Kirkpatrick added four aces for Butte Falls (13-7). Taylor had five of her kills in the second game.
