He was born April 2, 1927 in Pittsburgh, Pa. Many remember Sid for his fiery letters to the editor. He was a veteran of 30 years in both the Navy and U.S. Air Force. He'll be greatly missed by his two sons, two daughters, and six grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church, 121 2nd Street, Phoenix, OR.
